Yo-Chi, Australia’s fastest-growing and most popular frozen yogurt brand, has announced its first chef collaboration of 2023, with none other than young dessert star Morgan Hipworth, owner of the Melbourne favourite bakery Bistro Morgan.

Hipworth has stepped up to the plate for the month of April to create his own Special Chi topping, consisting of mini chewy golden cookies with the addition of everyone’s favourite, caramilk and white chocolate. The topping pairs perfectly with a range of Yo-Chi’s frozen yogurt flavours, such as the top picks Butterscotch, Signature Tart, and Vanilla for the ultimate cookie flavour combo. Morgan’s personal favourite is pairing his yummy toppings with the Signature Tart and sprinkling some crumble and butterscotch sauce on top. Aussies across the country will be encouraged to Share the Chi with the opportunity to seriously level up their own frozen yogurt game as the topping is available nationwide.

"Partnering with Yo-Chi on this collaboration has been a dream come true. My mini cookies with caramilk and white chocolate are the perfect addition to any of their delicious frozen yogurt flavours. I can't wait for everyone to try it!" said Hipworth about the partnership.

The collaboration marks the first of a range of collaboration series in 2023 after a successful line-up in 2022 which saw the likes of Chocolate Queen Kirsten Tibballs, pastry extraordinaire Darren Purchese, dessert experts Pierrick Boyer and Anna Polyviou whom all took part in the series by creating their own delicious topping creation.

Morgan Hipworth is the founder of Windsor-based, Bistro Morgan, a fully-fledged bakery that he launched in 2016 as just a 15-year-old. Widely known for his decadent doughnut creations which include Gaytime Crunch and Coco Pops flavours, with countless other treats on offer just to name a few of the reasons customers flock weekly to the store. Hipworth is no stranger to our television screens with a line-up of media appearances, as well as playing guest judge on Junior MasterChef Australia and hosting his mini-series on Nick Jr.

The dessert expert combines his passion for creating delicious food and inspiring the next generation via the large social following that he has amassed across his channels. With over 1 million followers on Tik Tok and 150, 000 on Instagram, fans eagerly watch as Hipworth shares his most loved recipes as well as new, decadent creations that provide some serious food envy!

The special-chi announcement with Morgan Hipworth comes at the perfect time as Yo-Chi continues to roll out new stores across the country, with their most recently opened venue in Macquarie Shopping Centre in Sydney setting the tone for an exciting year ahead for the frozen yogurt brand. With no plans of slowing down, Yo-Chi has more venue openings on the cards for the upcoming months which will only add to the frozen yogurt craze spreading across the country.
Aussies in the following locations will soon have the chance to Share the Chi: Newtown, Sydney; Sunshine Plaza, Sunshine Coast; Leederville, Perth; Mt Gravatt, Brisbane; Lane Cove, Sydney; Henley Beach, Adelaide.

Bistro Morgan’s Special Chi of mini, chewy golden cookies with caramilk and white chocolate will be available in all Yo-Chi stores during the month of April.
