If Christmas to you means beautifully set tables, nostalgic flavours and a dessert that makes everyone stop and stare, Armadale favourite The Cake Club
has well and truly delivered this year.

Just in time for the festive season, the much-loved High Street bakery has unveiled its most impressive Christmas range yet, a joyful collection of handcrafted cakes and treats designed to be shared, admired and, of course, devoured.

Taking centre stage are three spectacular creations: a vibrant Christmas Tree cake, an elegant Wreath cake, and an intricately detailed gingerbread house that looks almost too good to eat. Almost. With classic Christmas colours, refined finishes and meticulous detailing, these pieces are made to anchor your Christmas table and spark conversation long before dessert is served.

The flavours lean into festive nostalgia, with gingerbread taking the spotlight as December’s flavour of the month. Expect soft, gently spiced layers paired with velvety buttercream, buttery gingerbread people ($6.90 each) and stunning gingerbread houses ($130) dusted with edible “snow” — a true holiday showpiece.

For those hosting or gifting, there’s no shortage of options. Colourful Christmas cookies ($7.50 each) arrive in holly greens and cranberry reds, as well as charming cupcakes and shortbread stars, while the Wreath cake (from $220) and Christmas Tree cake (from $240) offer a show-stopping centrepiece for festive celebrations.. Each piece reflects the bakery’s signature style, polished but playful, classic yet full of joy.

Founded just two years ago by home bakers Liv Glen and Kendyll Van De Ven, The Cake Club has quickly grown into a Melbourne southside favourite. What began as a passion project has blossomed into a go-to destination for dessert lovers seeking beautifully designed cakes that taste every bit as good as they look. Their Christmas collection captures everything people love about the brand: thoughtful flavours, stunning craftsmanship and an unmistakable sense of celebration.

Every item is handmade in small batches using quality ingredients and plenty of creative flair. The full Christmas range is available throughout December, with select hero items released weekly and cakes and gingerbread houses made to order, while stock lasts.

Whether you’re after a show-stopping centrepiece or a box of festive treats to share or gift, The Cake Club’s Christmas collection is a sweet reminder that some traditions are worth savouring.
